Assessment Skills: Parenting Assessment

The national and local focus on training on parenting assessment follows findings from a number of serious case reviews, which highlighted that parenting capacity has not always been effectively or robustly assessed. This is often compounded by issues of non-compliance and disguised compliance which were key factors in recent serious case reviews.
