Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Conference: Promoting Learning as a Tool for Life

Research shows that children looked after and previously looked after often do not attain on a par with other children. However, research also shows that those with carers who are engaged with and proactively support their education, have a much higher chance of success than those who do not, highlighting the important role foster carers can play in supporting the educational success of those in their care.
