Event Introduction PARIS is the Social Care and Health Care database used by RBWM to record all clients’ records. This course is designed for any manager who needs to manage staff who use the PARIS database.

Management of digital data is a critical business skill for modern managers in public service appointments; managers and leaders must have the confidence and competence to be digitally aware in a fast moving digital world where electronic records systems are now the norm.

Managers need to have attended the PARIS Children's Services Course prior to attending this session.

Tailored to the needs of the manager, this course will enhance the manager’s skill set whether they function at team or service or department level.
Event Content The aim of these sessions is to equip managers and leaders with the appropriate PARIS knowledge and skills to enable them to confidently, effectively and efficiently manage their workload and staff within the RBWM PARIS system.

Building on the content of the PARIS user courses, this course provides managers with an opportunity to explore the PARIS system within a safe training environment on a training system at a pace that suits the learner supported by a qualified teacher with 20+ years’ experience of teaching leaders and managers.

Managers will have the opportunity to explore all PARIS functions specific to their role and to simulate any work scenario, develop and discuss solutions and to practice these skills accordingly.
