Safeguarding Children: A Shared Responsibility Level 2 (EVENT FULL)

The safeguarding of children is the responsibility of everyone who works with children and young people. This safeguarding session is a single agency session and is only available to those working in schools. Bookings received from organisations that are not a school will be cancelled. If your organisation would like an in-service session delivered in your own setting on level 1 or 2 safeguarding please contact training@achievingforchildren.org.uk

Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene

Understanding the importance of correct food handling and storage, personal hygiene, preventative measures and effective controls and procedures is key in successfully completing this Basic Food Hygiene course.

This Level 2 programme is specifically designed for food handlers, particularly those using and storing raw ingredients and high risk foods.

This module is an e-learning course and maps to the Industry Standards. It allows everyone who works in catering, regardless of size, to provide all staff with first class training in your own environment.

Emergency First Aid at Work 1-day (EVENT FULL)

The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the requirements set by the Health & Safety Executive and the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This course is designed to give delegate the confidence and competence to act in the event of an emergency, whilst waiting for further medical help to arrive.
The course is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive for low hazard environments where you are required to have a first aider on site. It follows the HSE guidelines for 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work courses.
