|Event Introduction||This is a one hour session on every Friday for all Windsor and Maidenhead AFC Staff to come together, share best practice, and refresh knowledge.
In Achieving for Children we think it is really important that teams and services are able to meet up regularly. What sets this concept apart from other courses is the accessibility and less framed structure of this approach.
The lunch and learn session are important, not just to share a level of expertise but they enable two way, regular communications among employees from different parts of AFC. With practitioner attendance we will be able to encourage to build and maintain teamwork skills, furthermore a better channel for understand and getting the direct point across.
The sessions will also help facilitate and develop skills, deepen interpersonal relationships, and build a stronger work culture. The theme of this event will be announced shortly.
|Event Content||This session aims to develop a learning opportunity in an interesting alternative way to share expertise with some real cases. It covers topics relative to your work and also your well being of your own choice.
The session will be facilitated by a variety of voluntary professionals both within and outside the organization to cover the different topics from legal procedures and workshop, systemic, case discussions to supporting your well-being.
These sessions are taking the place of RBWM meeting rooms. All permanent staff are all welcome to attend. A detailed topic for each event will be available nearer the time.
|Event Learning Outcomes||By the end of the session, practitioners will have:
• Networked with colleagues from teams across RBWM and other local authorities.
• Shared best practice stories and have taken one key element away with them to try in their own team/ role.
• Understood and be able to identify best practice and its impact on service users.
