PARIS Children's Services RBWM course (Windsor and Maidenhead)

Event Introduction PARIS is the Social Care and Health Care database used by RBWM to record all clients’ records. This course is mandatory for all PARIS users who need to be able to write to the PARIS database, upon successful completion of the course, users will be provided with write access to the PARIS system.

This course covers the basics that all PARIS users need to know to be able to successfully navigate the software and input or access appropriate data in client’s records.
Event Content The aim of this session is to equip all RBWM workers in Children's Services (except Health Visitors) with the appropriate PARIS knowledge and skills to enable them to confidently, effectively and efficiently perform their PARIS functions.

The course provides learners with an opportunity to create a person on the training system; simulate a request for services through the creation of a referral and create a simulated assessment and case notes for the client.

Learners will also have an opportunity to explore other functions within PARIS such as: the in app messaging system, the Duty Desk, dashboards, personal document search and any other functions required within their role as defined by AfC.

The course is delivered within a safe training environment on a training system which allows learners to explore the system at a pace that suits the learner supported by a qualified teacher with 25 years’ experience of supporting adult learners.

Learners will be provided with electronic PARIS Manuals to support them in the workplace.
