eLearning: Safeguarding Training: Basic Awareness Level 1

The Government has defined the term 'safeguarding children' as 'The process of protecting children from abuse or neglect, preventing impairment of their health and development, and ensuring they are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care that enables children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully. Safeguarding Awareness Level 1 is suitable for those who have infrequent direct contact with children and young people, and may become aware of possible abuse or neglect.

LSCB Safeguarding Children: Child Protection Process Level 3 - Refresher

This course is for staff who have previously completed Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding courses and are required to refresh their knowledge and skills. This training session will refresh understanding delegates about the processes involved with child protection procedures, including statutory assessment.

Domestic Abuse Training - Level 1

Domestic Abuse is "Any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality.” (NSPCC, 2018)
