We know that school self-evaluation is a powerful tool in driving improvement in schools, and when it is done well, it propels school improvement. Underpinning effective self-evaluation is the ability to ask the right questions. A leadership team needs to dig under the surface of the school and really discover what is going on, in order to have an accurate view of the school.
