Early Years Foundation Stage Reforms 2021 - Drop-in sessions for leaders, leading the EYFS Reforms (Childminders) (Cancelled)

From September 2021, reforms to the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework become statutory. Local Authorities have a duty to provide training for all providers working with children in the EYFS.

During the summer term, we have provided a series of initial briefings for those who are leading EYFS provision within their settings. As these drop-ins are a follow up to these, it is expected that to attend this drop-in you will have already attended one of these initial briefings. From the autumn term we will start to roll out training for all practitioners.

‘Smooth Transitions’- A Transition Evening to support the transition process - Kingston (Cancelled)

This event is for Maintained Schools Independent Schools, Private and Voluntary Day Nursery and Pre-school settings and Childminders.

The importance of smooth transition between settings for very young children should not be underestimated. Investing time in the quality of a child’s transition from an early years setting to the next educational organisation should be seen as a priority for all early years’ practitioners.

Childcare Provider Network (Out of School and Holiday Clubs) (Cancelled)

The Childcare Provider Network Sessions will support anyone leading early years practice and provision in pre-schools, day nurseries, out of school and in childminder settings in the Royal Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Richmond.

The Early Years Childcare Provider Network Sessions are facilitated by members of the Early Years Advisory Team. It is an opportunity for the leaders of settings to meet, network and share information and good practice across the sector.
