Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) a nationwide lock-down was announced at the end of March 2020, since this time AfC staff have been for the large majority working virtually.

In light of the most recent Government announcement employees are being actively encouraged to return to work where working from home is impossible.

These learning events are for all leaders in the organisation who have line management responsibility and will support leaders and managers to ensure the transition back to the workplace happens safely and fairly.

Fire Safety – Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans

Under current fire safety legislation it is the obligation of the person(s) having responsibility for the building to provide a fire safety risk assessment that includes an emergency evacuation plan for all people likely to be in the premises, including disabled people, and how that plan will be implemented (HM Government, 2007).
