Covid-19 First Aid Top-Up

This course will give candidates an insight into undertaking First Aid and the practical measures which need to be considered to the first aider during the Covid-19 pandemic. The course will follow the national guidelines and those set out by the UK Resuscitation Council.

This 2-2.5 hour course will be run as a virtual webinar via Zoom, please ensure that candidates have adequate facilities including a strong internet connectivity. There will be opportunity for question and answer sessions throughout the course.

In response to the Covid 19 pandemic a nationwide lockdown was announced at the end of March 2020, since this time AfC staff have been for the large majority working virtually.

AfC is planning for a phased and gradual return to the workplace. This individual return to the workplace assessment has been developed to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our workforce as we prepare to resume our normal duties.

Each member of staff who is returning to the workplace will need to have a risk assessment completed in consultation with their line manager.
